Rosalee joins the team with experience in project and program management within the higher education and non-profit sector. Prior to joining the Foundation for Social Connection, Rosalee worked at the Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor where she managed and carried out development, marketing and outreach initiatives to support their mission of providing free cancer support services. Rosalee also worked for the University of Michigan, where she served in various student services roles that included supporting Master and Doctoral students through their degree programs, admissions and recruitment, program management, and event planning. Rosalee’s interests and passions include health equity, maternal child health, mental health, and integrative health care.
Rosalee graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s in Public Health. Following graduation, she earned her Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Michigan, where she studied health behavior and health education and interpersonal practice with a concentration in children, youth, and families, respectively.
What drives you to work on addressing social isolation & loneliness / fostering social connection ?
I’ve witnessed the negative effects of isolation and I want to be a part of creating sustainable solutions to foster social connection among all people regardless of age, socioeconomic status, geographic location, etc.
