Each June, alongside our partners at the Global Initiative on Loneliness and Connection (GILC), Marmalade Trust, and Humana’s Far From Alone, we activate local communities, policymakers, and innovators to share resources, identify areas of collaboration, and educate the public on the importance of belonging and resiliency. We mobilize relationships across the globe to elevate awareness of the crisis worldwide.
The Coalition to End Social Isolation and Loneliness was excited to host Connections at the Capitol on June 13th in the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center in Washington, D.C. During this event, we heard from prominent thought leaders, change-makers, and advocates about current efforts to foster belonging and resiliency among our most vulnerable populations.
